FOUR SEASONS - SYDNEY

This little cutie was a nice surprise we happened upon at the Four Seasons in Sydney. With no specific plan and nowhere to be, we somehow ended up inside The Grain and that’s where we stayed all night. While we had several great (and wildly expensive) craft cocktails, I just absolutely loved this koala themed one. Funnily enough, it was the spectacular drink underneath the decor that really got me.

My go to cocktail is a gin based anything so this particular one was right up my alley with Widgets Wheat Gin, Montenegro (a new favorite liquer sipper I discovered at the Golden Tiki), eucalyptus, lemon, and egg white. A new twist on the classic ‘White Lady’. Layered with a watercolor rice paper print, this guy was just too cute from start to finish.

While the cocktails at The Grain are seasonal and do change frequently, I can tell you we tried damn near the whole menu and not one disappointed. If your in the Sydney Downtown area, make a stop and then be sure to check out the birdcages just a few blocks away.
