St Arnaud

‘Hope’ - By Kyle Torney

This was my second stop on the Silo Art Trail. I was incredibly surprised by this piece. While I had at first been on the fence about it due to time restraints,, I found this to be one of my favorites because of the black and white portrait aspect.

This piece was created by Kyle Torney and done in August 2020, taking over 800 hours to complete. It was one of four designs in the running, collaborating with local residents on the final conception.

St Arnaud’s is a hot spot for art activity, believe it or not. Don’t miss the portrait across the road, which marks the beginning of the Wall Art Trail. Follow it down Wimmera Hwy to Charlton Road, keeping your eyes peeled for portraits down alleys and along the sides of buildings.
