What is the Silo Art Trail?

The Silo Art Trail refers to several self-guided road trips throughout Australia showcasing large scale murals on grain silos. The bulk of these silos can be found in Victoria, these can be found throughout Australia, including art on various surfaces such as buildings and water towers.

Here are some important facts you should know:

• Literally none of them are less than 30 minutes from each other, with most being at least an hour and a half of driving time between. Keep that in mind when planning your route.

• Grain silos are found in the middle of nowhere, amid miles and miles of farm land. Keep this in mind for gas and other necessities.

• All of these silos are on private property with the permission of the owner. Some have fences or warnings to keep your distance. Don’t be an asshole.

• These behemoth’s are best viewed from the sky so bring your drone.
